Bio

Andy Nossal, Bass Guitar/Vocals

Born and raised in San Diego, Andy started performing professionally at age 8 with various local bands. Jazz, classical and progressive music were his influences while learning guitar, drums, bass, trombone and bass guitar. In 1983, he was one of the founding members of Crystal as well as one of the main songwriters. The band toured nationally and abroad and opened for Joan Jett, Foghat and Steppenwolf, to name a few.

Chris Nolan, Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals

Born in Spokane, WA Chris found himself in San Diego at age 14. Chris took an interest in guitar and keyboard. This led him to a 26+ year journey that makes him one of the most versatile forces in FX5 camp. His influences include Foreigner, Yes, Kansas and Led Zeppelin. He has been in past San Diego bands such as Fat Chance, Fuze, Red Alert, Side Trax and Tres Hombres. He ios responsible for various fling fireballs, spinning/flashing hats and magical mayhem.

John Brengle, Guitar/Vocals

John is a graduate of the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles (G.I.T.). He has been playing guitar for 30 years in San Diego with bands such as: Illusion, The Amber Band, Jonathon Von Brana, Emergency Exit, Common Ground, and The Late Edition.

Sue Nolan, Percussion/Vocals

Out front of the lineup is Sue (Super SueBee)! Sue comes to the band with 15 years experience performing in front of audiences form Florida to San Fransisco area. Starting out in Orlando, she performed throughout the club and hotel circuit with the band Intrigue. After moving to northern California, she ventured into an original project “Pulse”, which opened for Loverboy and Mr. Big Sue knows how to demand the attention of the audience and take them on a stunning musical journey.

Alan Neff, Drums/Vocals

Alan is a San Diego native and has played in the clubs around Southern California since the late 70s. Alan has learned over a thousand songs and currently plays Sonor or Mapex drums with Sonor heavy duty hardware and Tama Iron Cobra high hat and pedal
